Long Covid Families Internship Program

The Long Covid Families Internship Program invites students and recent graduates into work that helps families navigate this chronic illness. Interns help translate research, strengthen communications, and contribute to national advocacy that improves access to care and education.

What You Will Gain

You may sit in on strategy conversations, join the team’s working sessions, and see how thoughtful communication moves research and policy forward.

Who Should Apply

We welcome students and recent graduates who are:

  • Interested in public health, communication, or nonprofit leadership
  • Able to commit ten to fifteen hours per week
  • Curious, reliable, and ready to be part of a collaborative team

You do not need prior experience with Long COVID. You will grow your skills through meaningful work that supports families.

Program Details

Internships are remote and part time. Positions are unpaid and may qualify for academic credit through your college or university. We provide recommendation letters and portfolio work samples to interns who complete the program.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Most interns begin in January or September.

Projects change each semester and may include research translation, digital communications, content creation, policy support, or family outreach.
