Kids Deserve Care

Recognizing and Responding to Long COVID in Children

Pediatric Long Covid Awareness Week July 21-25

A Generation at Risk

Six million children are living with Long COVID. Their symptoms disrupt memory, energy, mood, and development, keeping them out of school, sidelined from friendships, and left without answers.

This is a public health crisis for children. And it demands action.

This July, Pediatric Long COVID Awareness Week brings families, clinicians, researchers, and advocates together to push for the response children deserve. Kids need care. It’s time to fully fund the research, train the clinicians, and build the support systems our children need.

According to State-of-Art Narrative Review of Pediatric Research:

10-20%

Long Covid affects 10-20% of kids after Covid infection

5.8M

5.8 million kids impacted by Long Covid in the United States as of 2023
