Relationship Development

Make introductions and build relationships with partners in philanthropy, healthcare, education, and public institutions. Directors help develop these connections into partnerships that support LCF’s mission and work.

Fundraising Support

Support and participate in fundraising activities and special events. Help identify prospective donors, build donor relationships, and secure financial support for LCF. We welcome experience with foundations, corporate giving, or donor development.

Financial Oversight

Review budgets and financial reports, ask questions, and help ensure resources are used responsibly. We welcome financial or accounting expertise to support the board’s shared responsibility for LCF’s financial health.

Working Together

LCF’s Board of Directors is a working board. Directors are expected to prepare for and participate in monthly board meetings, actively serve on a committee, and carry out committee work and agreed responsibilities between meetings.
