Long Covid Families is collecting and amplifying the voices of Long Haulers.
Our team has put a lot of thought into how we would like to tell patient stories.
We believe it’s important for the public to understand the seriousness of the illness, that we do need support, but our population does not see itself as helpless victims. This illness is nasty and can be relentless, but we are strong.
For this reason, we feel it’s important to talk about the strengths and likes of the individual and end with what we need from our communities, or our “Wish List.”
We are open to sharing anonymous stories as well since COVID has been so heavily politicized.
